It contains colorful links to more than a dozen full-length online children's books, such as: The Wumpalump, The Littlest Knight, McFeeglebee's Pond, etc. You can read them outloud, let your kids solve the riddles, or let them color in the accompanying pictures in the coloring book!

  4. DLTK Printable Crafts for Kids
    DLTK's Crafts for Kids features a variety of fun, printable children's crafts, coloring pages and more including projects for holidays, educational themes and some of our children's favorite cartoon characters. The site is run by (me) Leanne, a mom with two girls (ages 4 and 8 - gosh they grow up fast!) as my official craft testers and daddy as my technical support.

    This is one of the best children's health sites on the Internet. It is a safe place for kids to go to find out more about their bodies and feelings through games, puzzles, and health tips. Parents and educators will find accurate, up-to-date information on child behavior and development, nutrition, growth, surgery, immunizations, and more.

    This site has generous, up-to-date listings of homework helper sites.

    This is an online newspaper designed for students in grades K-5. Instead of learning about current events, student will meet animals, such as Owly-Bear, who promotes reading, writing, and communication skills.

    Here you'll find an art gallery your students can add to, cool online toys, and neat games.

    This site is a good place to go for the numberically inclined! This site has wonderful clickable titles like: "Machines that Eat Your Words," "Algorithms and Ice Cream for All," and "Welcome to the Hotel Infinity" which are designed to appeal to the elementary school users.

    "Visit this site to get the latest information, including images, from the unmanned spacecraft Glileo now orbiting cloud-shrouded Jupiter, hundreds of millions of miles from Earth."
  19. Quest, NASA's K-12 Education Initiative
    This is a NASA project site called, "Live from the Hubble Space Telescope." It donates three valuable Hubble orbits to students so they may observe a celestial body of their choosing. In March and April, this site offered two live video broadcasts which gave students the chance to make their observations and interpret the data on-line with the aid of the astronomers.
