“From L to J” with Dr. Lee Jenkins at ESU #8, 9:00-3:00. This two-day training is an opportunity to learn a system that can be immediately used in the classroom.

NEW Programs at ESU #8
Schools will be receiving a database with about 150 new titles from the 2007-2008 “Spring Buy and Special Projects” that can be copied for your library. Your school needs only to provide the blank videocassettes or DVD's for the duplication process.
Unlike the VHS, only one title will be copied per DVD. The supported formats include DVD +R and DVD +RW. ESU #8 provides the duplication free of charge.

- Click on Login to Web/MAX
- Enter your Building & User Number in the first box
- Tab down to the second box and enter the password ORDERS, unless you havepersonally changed your password
- Then click SUBMIT
Printable Nursery Rhyme Mini Books
Louisiana sent this out to all state libraries for use in all states:
The State Library of Louisiana has produced a series of 24 one-page Printable Nursery Rhyme Mini Books for children to color and keep.
Each mini book requires one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper and just 2 folds. Please encourage staff to print them out and give them to children, parents, and teachers after programs, tours, presentations, as part of preschool outreach book delivery services, etc.

Featuring ESU #8 Administrator, Randy Peck!
Randy Peck accepted the position as ESU #8 Administrator in July 1999. During the previous ten years, Randy was the Superintendent at Elkhorn Valley Schools. Prior to being at Elkhorn Valley, Randy was a Principal at Chappell for five years and a Principal at Cozad for six years.
Randy began his career in Education at Millard North Junior High in Omaha. There he taught Industrial Tech and coached football and basketball. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State College, Randy went on to earn his Master’s Degree from UNO and his Specialist Degree from Kearney State.
We are certainly looking to the future with Randy as our Administrator!
