2008 19th ANNUAL ESU #8 QUIZ BOWL RESULTS

The 2008 ESU #8 Middle School/Junior High Quiz Bowl competition took place on Wednesday, April 2nd in Neligh at the American Legion Hall. Nineteen teams from the schools in the ESU #8 seven counties participated in this year's Quiz Bowl. Pictured below is the winning Middle School/Junior High Quiz Bowl Team from Norfolk Middle School, coached by Beth Gentrup.

The runner-up team of the Middle School/Junior High Quiz Bowl is from Norfolk Junior High. They are pictured below with their coach, Linda Scranton.

The 2008 ESU #8 High School Quiz Bowl competition took place on Wednesday, April 9th in Neligh at the American Legion Hall. Seventeen teams from the schools in the ESU #8 seven counties participated in this year's High School Quiz Bowl. Pictured below is the winning High School Quiz Bowl Team from Norfolk Catholic, coached by Marsha Stewart.

The runner-up team of the High School Quiz Bowl is from Elgin Pope John. They are pictured below with their coach, Karmen Meysenburg. Both High School Teams will represent Educational Service Unit #8 at the Nebraska ESU Senior High Academic Quiz Bowl Competition to be held in Holdrege, Nebraska on Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
