Basic Six Traits of Writing Training

Gloria Christiansen, ESU #8 will present “Basic Six Traits of Writing Training.”  The 6 + 1traits of writing training is designed for K-12 teachers new to this approach to writing instruction.

Throughout the overview, participants will:

• Gain knowledge about the traits
• Use analytic rubrics for assessing the traits
• Establish criteria for supporting the writing process
• Use the criteria for guided practice in scoring writing sample

Please bring a 3-inch 3-ring notebook and a package of dividers for training materials.

Fee for ESU #8 Schools:  $20.00 Registration and $15.00 for Materials
(Fee outside ESU #8:  $25.00 Registration and $15.00 for Materials)
