English Language Learners at School:
A Guide for Administration

Audience: Administrators and teacher leaders working with ELL populations
NOTE:  Experiencing this opportunity is best served by attending as a team. A team consists of at least 1 District Administrator (DA's, you are the financial/educational leadership managers.) and 1 or more teachers (Teachers, you are the persons who directly work with the students).

Cost: All districts: $80.00 per participant. ESU 7 will bill non-ESU 7 district participants after the event occurs.

Description: Rebecca Freeman, an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania and international consultant on ELL, is the co-author of the book English Language Learners: A Guide for Administrators. Attend this workshop as a school or district team to learn about program models, policies, student background experiences and how they impact learning. Small group discussion will be an essential part of the day-long experience.
