Tony Glenn from the NDE will be facilitating an Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering Systems (IMES) Career Field In-service at the following locations this fall.

  • Scottsbluff, Monday, October 5, 9:00-2:00 (MDT) – Western Nebraska Community College, HATC, Room A108d
  • North Platte, Tuesday, October 6, 9:00-2:00 (CDT) – North Platte Community College, North (Voc-Tech) Campus, Room 102
  • Hastings, Wednesday, October 7, 9:00-2:30 (CDT) – Central Community College-Hastings, Harlan Building, Room 105
  • Lincoln, Thursday, October 8, 9:00-2:00 (CDT) – Southeast Community College-Lincoln, 8800 “O” Street, Room G-1
  • Norfolk, Tuesday, November 3, 9:00–2:00 (CDT) – Northeast Community College, Lifelong Learning Center, Suite F
  • Omaha, Wednesday, November 4, 9:00-2:00 (CDT) – Metropolitan Community College-Omaha, South Campus, ITC Building, Room 119

The focus of the in-service will consist of reviewing current courses offered and course descriptions for IMES programs of study. You are requested to bring a list of your current courses and course descriptions to this in-service, as well as a laptop computer. Lunch will be provided and substitute reimbursement is available.

Please consider attending this in-service as it will assist you in determining course offerings that will best meet the needs of students preparing to pursue an IMES career.
