Perkins Work Session for Perkins Guidance Counselors and Co-Chairs
ESU 8 will hold an informational meeting with Dean Folkers, NDE to work on the 2007-08 Perkins accountability system with the NSSRS. The annual accountability reporting is through the Nebraska Portal this year.

Dean will also answer questions concerning Perkins IV and the identification of programs of study. There will be work time.
In order to be prepared for the meeting, you should download the Perkins IV Performance Accountability Instructions and read p. 6-20 through 6-24. http://www.nde.state.ne.us/nce/PerkinsAccountabilityResources.htm
- Read the definition of CTE participant and concentrator.
- Bring a list of student names for each both participants and concentrators for 2007-08.
- Reporting consists of identification of participants, concentrators and assignment of their skill level.
