Overview of Program

This Step Up to Writing Training is designed for Grades K-12 educators including: Title I, special education, ELL, elementary classroom teachers, content specialists and elementary principals.

The training, written by Maureen Auman, uses multi-sensory, classroom-proven teaching strategies and student writing activities to improve writing. It is designed to give educators practical, and helpful instruction about writing assignments, assessments, and everyday writing tasks. Strategies and applications will be practiced for teaching students to write clear, organized paragraphs, reports, and essays, personal narratives, stories and creative pieces.

NOTE: Day One is a prerequisite to Day Two.

REQUIRED MANUAL: The Step Up to Writing Manual must be ordered & purchased by school district prior to the workshop. Contact SoprisWest.com to order your training manual.

Classroom sets used with students K-3, 3-6, and 7-12 are the responsibility of the school.

Training packet fee is included in the $20.00 registration fee.

Workshop Cost: $20.00 Registration Fee (includes training packet)
