New
Email Server - August 15, 2005
The
NEW email system can be accessed by clicking the graphic below.
The two changes that need to be made are:
-
your
account name must have @esu8.org appended to
the end of it. For instance, my email account name is lmmiller.
On the new system my account name will be lmmiller@esu8.org
... which is also my full email address. So, when you login
to the new system make sure you use your email address when
it asks for your login name.
- if
you use an email program (i.e. Outlook, Eudora, etc.) your server
name (POP/incoming and SMTP/outgoing) needs to be changed to esu8.org
instead of www.esu8.org.

Currently, we have animated tuturorials on the new mail server.
These tutorials explain how to retrieve mail from the old server
and bring it into the new server. Also, they show how to change
your login name in your email client program so that it works on
the new system. The tutorials are done for Outlook Express, Eudora
and Thunderbird email clients. Click here

Old
Mail Server:
You may want to collect email from the old server, or you may want
to collect email addressess from the Twig and Squirrel web based
mail programs on the old server. Your new messages will not go to
these old email servers. So, in order to view old email and addresses
please use the old Twig and Squirrel login screens below. Please
note that shortly after Christmas 2005 we will no longer support
the old mail servers and these links will no longer work.
So, this is your opportunity to get what you need off of the old
server.
