Podcasting Session at ESU #8

Jalayne Keyes with ESU #8 organized and participated in a podcasting session that was held at ESU #8 on October 3rd. Pictured below is Corey Dahl, Elementary Principal at Plainview, showing Ann Daubt, Sandy Patton, and Connie Vesely how to use VideoCue Pro to make a podcast. VideoCue Pro allows you to create newscast type podcasts utilizing “green screen” technology, similar to what is being used for movies and weather maps.

Angels at ESU #8

Here's Doug Zauha, the number one angel, conducting the training.	Angel Training was held at ESU #8 September 18 and 19. Approximately 45 teachers and staff attended the training.
Up close are three Norfolk teachers at the Angel training: Deb Brunswick, Sandy Dieckman, and Kathy Steinkamp.	Three of Madison's teachers attended Angel Training: Audrey Loosvelt, Chyrel Remmers, and Michelle Kluver.

Pictures from the Data Retreat!

Representatives from the Northern Tier Schools attended a Data Retreat on July 30th at ESU #8 to review student data on reading assessments. This analysis was conducted to review progress on the common School Improvement Reading Goal.

The group also analyzed the External Team Report which followed the
visitation that was conducted last Spring by Nebraska Department of
Education and peer school districts.
