Science:

Today we did an experiment with lima beans and corn kernels. We identified the two and wrote different things in our Science Notebook. Luckily, we have no homework.

(Substitute was Mrs. Tompkins in Science)

Social Studies

We started off seeing whose notes were back signed. Than, we read a couple pages about Natural Resources and wrote notes in our notebooks as we went along. We have a worksheet for an assignment!

Math

First, we did 2 warm-up problems to get our memory started. For the problems we got right, we got a door prize drawing. We also got a wonderful presentation by Demi and Craig for not bringing their notes back! We all enjoyed the Barney Song, sang by the two. After the show, we all got a good start on our Checkpoint, soon to be our homework.

Reading

We started our Novel groups! 4 groups all read different books. We looked over our Reading Response Journals and started to read in our groups.

Other Things

Mrs. Morrow needed help with photo essays, so some kids offered to take pictures of technologies in our class, like 3D, the C-PEN, and a few others. Study hall was during that time, which was band also. 2:30 we tried to start A.R, but lots of us decided to work on the Photo Essays. Tonight we need to read A.R lots.
