    Students researched, wrote, and "became" historical heroes for this nonfiction language arts project on those who have "Made a Difference."  Their final portrayal was held in the form of a "Wax Museum" for all to visit.  When visitors dropped a coin next to their display, students "came alive" and performed the monologue they had written.
