Who invented the Muppets? "I, Jim Henson” Muppet creator. The first muppet I created was Kermit the green frog when I was 16. Other muppets I created were Mrs. Piggy, Breaker, Rentro, gonzo, and the Animal. I went to puppet school at the University of Maryland. I was in a puppet class learning how to make puppets. After I got out of school I made the show Sesame Street. I made a difference in kids life by creating a wonderful funny TV show to make kids laugh and enjoy theirselves as kids. I hope my show will teach children how to be good. By
