Orville Wright

    Do you know who invented the airplane? Me! Orville Wright and my brother Wilbur Wright! I was born in Dayton, Ohio,1871. When me and Wilbur were little we liked to fly kites and wished we could fly like the kite, inspiring us about flight. As we got older we studied birds in are backyard. Also we started a printing press and bike shop to get money for supplies to make the plane. When it was time for Wilbur to go to college because, the got hit in the head with a hockey puck, shocked his nervous system making him very ill for months! When Wilbur got better his mother died of Tuberculosis. On September 25 I went to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina to build the plane. (Kitty Hawk was a barren desert with lots of wind.) When Wilbur got to Kitty Hawk the plane was ready! And I, Orville Wright was the first person ever to fly! The plane went up 200 feet! And changed the world!
