Third Grade Social Studies Outcomes

SS-3-1 Students will locate places on maps and globes.

SS-3-2 Students will identify landforms, bodies of water, climate and natural resources.

SS-3-3 Students will identify information about early North American communities.

SS-3-4 Students will describe the histories of communities and identify how communities grow and change over time.

SS-3-5 Students will identify the roles of our leaders in the local, state, and federal governments and define how our government works and how to be a good citizen.
