LA-4-4            Students will produce three writings: personal narrative, adventure, and limerick.

LA-4-4-2          Apply the 5-step writing process in writing a personal narrative and demonstrate each step in written form.

 

LA-4-4-3         Apply the elements of character, plot, setting, problems, events, and solution in writing and Adventure Story.

LA-4-6            Students will utilize information by accessing resources to complete a Nebraska Studies Report.

 

LA-4-6-1          Using a dictionary, students will define a minimum of five new words that they discover while researching their chosen topic.

 

LA-4-6-2          Students will apply a variety of general resource materials and electronic resource material to research their chosen topic.

 

LA-4-6-3          Students will demonstrate the use of research questions, note taking, outlining, and summarizing, by writing a Nebraska Studies Report. 

 

LA-4-7            Students will apply appropriate speaking techniques while presenting informative presentations.
