Eagles Lose at Home, End Season.

The O'Neill Eagles football team lost at home on Friday afternoon. The game was played at this time because of technical difficulties. The Eagles came out slowly and never found stride. Wayne jumped to a 14-0 lead at the half. The Eagles came out firing in the second half, but couldn't find the endzone until late and lost the game 31-6. The Eagles season ended with a 3-5 record. The Eagles just missed the playoffs as well. The team has nothing to hang their heads about. They played well this season and brought back alot of pride to the program. Also, the Eagles were competitive. 4 out of the 5 teams that beat the Eagles this season will be playing in the playoffs.
Even though the Eagles season is over, this website will keep you posted on all the playoff action and stats for all classes.

Eagles Fall in Crofton, Move to 3-4.

The Eagle football team traveled to Crofton on Friday night and were defeated 47-0 by the warriors. The Eagles kept it close in the early stages of the game, but Crofton was able to gain a 14-0 lead after the first quarter. The warriors continued to gain momentum and never looked back. At the break, crofton led 33-0 and won the game 47-0. Despite the loss, the Eagles did play well, and threatened to score many times throughout the game. The Eagles will host Wayne on Thursday, which is the Eagles last regular season game. This game is a huge game for the Eagles and their playoff hopes. The game is equally important to Wayne, who is right on the edge of being in the playoffs. Most likely, whoever wins will be in, and who ever loses will be out.
