Holes

       Have you ever felt like you were cursed?  Stanley Yelnats was just walking home from school when Clyde Livingston’s shoes fell right from the sky!!  Stanley was charged of stealing shoes from the homeless shelter and is then sent to Camp Green Lake.  At Camp Green Lake you have to dig a five foot wide and five foot deep hole to build character.  While he is hanging out with the guys he is named a nickname, Caveman.  He also blames his no good, dirty rotten, pig-stealing, great, great grandfather.  Stanley is told many secrets about why they are digging holes and about his best friend, Zero.  You should read the book to fill up the rest of the holes in this amazing mystery!!

·        For people who like mysteries, when books all make sense in the end, and characters that are not perfect.
