Today's Race Report: Ding... Ding... Ding...Time to get ready for first rotation. Our first rotation is science and reading. In reading we decided what book we would read for our discussion groups. The books included: The Enourmous Egg, Frindle, James and the Giant Peach, and last but not least, The BFG. We also finished up the awesome movie, Holes, because some kids were reading that book. We didn't have science but we are working on our Digestive System posters. Well, you better be on perfect tune because it's time for music. Today for music we sang Fifty Nifty and got to listen to our Christmas Program music. So, who do you think you are going to vote for? We talked about the election and we shared our posters about the two presidents which are: George Bush and John Kerry. Get ready to vote tomorrow!! Math was blasting off as we all got our pencil and notebooks or folders and we started math. While some kids were doing Challenge Math the others were doing a math minute. The assignment was P2-12 and the Challenge Math group tried to complete the ten assignments that were assigned. "YUM" I said as I gulped down my cheeseburger which was one of the choices for lunch. The more recess the better. After our REAL recess was over the kids who got their A.R goal went to the commons area and got their delicious watermelon that was provided. Then came more recess too! Study Hall has just begun and it's time to get your homework done so you can watch T.V or play your PS2 at home after school. The trombones and snare drums had band. In language arts we are doing the Eagle Eye News jobs, we just found out today. This week there is no vocab book or mug shot sentences.Hoooorayyyyyyyyy.This will be a good week. Have a good day!Toodalooooo! |
