Ding! Ding! Ding! Time to go to First rotation. My first rotation is Language Arts and Spelling. For journal warm-up we made a Veteran's Day program poem. Then, we practiced our vocabulary words for tomorrow's test by playing an absolutely exciting game of "Who wants to be a MILLIONARE!" Also, Mrs. Morrow paired us up into groups and we marked our "Descriptive Person" writing with our green and purple colored pencils.

Next, we went to music or P.E.

After that, I had Social Studies and Math. In Social Studies we took notes for the following explorers: Columbus, Balboa, and Magellan. Mrs.Young also beamed us notes about he explorers.

In Math, we corrected page P Four-Three from yesterday's assignment. I hope that you didn't forget to bring back your math paper. We also got to get into pairs and review these properties: Commutative, Associative, Identity, Zero, and Distributive. Then, we got an asignment on rounding double-digit numbers to the greatest place.

Finally! We get to go to lunch. Man, I was getting really hungry and my stomach was starting to rumble and grumble. We got to have A. Tator tot Casserole, B. Pork Tenderloin, or C. Yogurt. Also, we had our everyday salad bar with white or chocolate milk and a side of corn. After lunch we all headed out to recess and had an awesome and totally fantastic time!

Then all of the students hd their specials: Guidance, Art, or Library.

Next, everyone went to their third rotation. My third rotation was Reading and Science. In Reading, students got into their reading groups and discussed things that have happened in their books: James and the Giant Peach, The BFG, The Enormous Egg, and Frindle.

In Science, we all read about the project about if bean seeds will grow in recycled materials.

"God bless the U.S.A!", you know the rest of the song. Everyone in the entire school crammed into the gym (including their relatives or foster parents)to listen to all of the grades sing patriotic songs for the Veterans Day Program. This was fantastic and a good reminder to us all for September eleventh, two thousand one.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Time to fill out our planners and get ready to snatch our homework, stuff it into our binders, and pack it all into our backpacks. Hope to have everyone back tomorrow to have another stupendous day on November twelfth. Bye!
