Today's Race Report:

Good morning fifth graders. It is a beautiful Wednesday morning.

To start off the day I went to reading and science. In reading we did reading and roll sheets. In science we did a cd rom on Earth's layers.

After reading and science I went to language arts. We started off with catching up on race reports. Then we talked about showing, not telling in our black writers express books. For journal warm-up we had to write about these two topics: "I like you, you are nice," or "On the dance floor my dad was like a fish out of water.

Our word of day was currency, the type of money from a different country.

Then we did our mug shot sentences.

After mug we did our descriptive writing assessment. Then Mrs. .Morrow read CRASH. While we had writing workshop.

Then we had specials, I had music. We practiced for our Christmas Program and talked about the times of practices for people with parts.

After music we had lunch, A.turkey and dressing, B. ham, C.yogurt, both come with roll, pumpkin dessert and milk.

After lunch we had speacials. I had library and Miss.Milne read us Chicken Sunday.

Then we had study hall. This is your chance to get caught up on your first and second rotations homework.

Then I had math and Social Studies. In Social Studies we read about Juan Ponce de Leon, Hernando de Soto, and Francissco Coronado. We also read about the spanish missonaries and did a worksheet 155-157.

In math we had an assignment, P4-5. Be sure to get it done!

Well it's hard to believe the beautiful Wednesday is over. Well let's hope Thursday is as beautiful as today was.
