Today's Race Report: It's finally Thursday, which means it's one day till Friday, which means three more days until Christmas vacation YEAH! Today we kick started the day off by trotting off to reading. In reading we worked on our reading projects. Some kids did Power Points and others did game boards or other creative projects. My group read The BFG. We are going to make a dictionary of all the words the BFG (The Big Friendly Giant) misuses. We didn't do science today, because we needed more time with our projects. Once we did our stretches in P.E we played soccer. After P.E we headed to math and social studies. In math we did an assignment in our book. We also did Mastering Math Facts. In social studies we took our big summative assessment over explorers. Most of the test was fairly easy but some parts were tricky. For lunch we had grilled cheese sandwiches or tator tot casserole. Now time for recess. Brrrrrrrr, let us in! Ahhhh, warmth. Time to head on down the hall to library. I got a new book called Swift Rivers so far it's really great. Now it's time to go to 3rd rotation which is language arts for me. We worked on our explorer Power Points. I didn't get to find out what happened at the end of the day, because the Soundsational Singers left. We went and sang Christmas carols to the people at the Evergreen and the nursing home. They really enjoyed it. Remember tomorrow's Friday!
