In reading we read a wonderful story of Pecos Bill to learn about thinking along with our reading. 

In science we learned about the cells and also the systems and organs.

In L.A. we brainstormed places where writing is used in the real world.  We started a new novel for read aloud, By Lizzie.  We explored our personal "Writing Territories" and are supposed to add to our list as the year goes on.
