Today's Race Report:
Today was more amazing than the Amazing Race. We are finally getting to carry our Palms from class to class and are learning quickly how to do lots of things on them.
In Reading we read a chapter from The Chocolate Touch and practiced the role of "Connector."
In Science we learned about bones and cartilage in our bodies. You should visit our skeleton friends named, Roxy, George, and Bob sometime!
In Social Studies we did worksheets about the LandBridge, Early Arrival, and Origin research theories.
In Math we practiced comparing numbers to each other. Remember to use alligator mouths or monsters to help you remember the greater than-less than signs.
Language Arts was filled with activities. We worked on posters for the parts of speech, played Giraffe on the Palms to learn Graffiti, and even completed two pages in our Vocab. Workbooks.
Our teachers keep telling us not to be so anxious about the Palms, but it's hard not to resist! We can't wait to come back tomorrow and learn more...
...MUCH more!
