Our new books for Reading Literature Circles.  We can't wait to read and discuss them!

Today's Race Report:

Everyone's at school.  Time to start switching classes and start the day.  

In Social Studies we talked and discussed the input Native Americans and the Arctic Native Americans.  Now we went onto math. We did a lot of problems from our math book.

Then we went to Reading and Science.  In Reading we discussed who was reading which book.  Everyone would read either Loser, Dear Mr. Henshaw, Holes, or Maniac Magee.  Then she put us in groups and we did a September and October calendar where we decided how many chapters we would read each day.  Then it was Science.  In Science we handed in our extra credit sheets that our parents had to sign. 

Then we went to PE or Music. 

After PE or Music we had lunch.  

After that we had Library, Art, or Guidance, 

After those we had Study Hall, where we did work if we don't have it done.

After that we went to Language Arts and did the Word of the Day and MUG proofreading sentences on our Palms.  Then we did Spelling and we wrote down five words from our Spelling list.
