"Writing our 1st Memoir"

Today's Race Report: Today was a
wonderful day in 5th grade.
In science today we got to watch a Bill Nye a Science Guy movie. It
was really funny! It was about skin and sweat. In reading we we did skill
cards. Those are cards that have questions on them that we have to answer.
They are pretty easy.
In Mrs. Young's social studies class we read about the Plains
Indians and how they hunted bison. In second rotation for math, we had to
go to the gym because Senator Cunningham came to give a speech. It was
long but it was also very interesting. He let us ask a lot of questions.
For first and third rotation they compared and ordered decimal numbers.
In language arts we had Mrs. Smith as a sub because Mrs. Morrow was
in Virginia Beach for her friend's wedding. Anyway we had to finish our
sloppy copy of our memoir. Mine was about sledding with Alyssa Sabotka.
Now we are leaving today just waiting for a brand new start tomorrow!
Time to go home! |
