Today's Race Report:

A fresh day of school and everybody is ready. (Well, some of us anyway.)

Rotation 1 begins and I go to science and reading. Today is a discussion day in reading. We discuss about the book our group is reading. It lasts about 45 minutes. In science we did two review sheets about the muscular system.

Rotation 1 is over and next my class has P.E. It was really exciting playing kickball.

We came back and read about the Eastern Woodland Indians. The two main Indians are the Algonquians and the Iroquois. They were very different. Mrs. Young also teaches math . All of the class did a rounding decimal crossword puzzle. How fun to do a crossword in math.

Next is lunch with a choice of pancakes or a cheeseburger. A lot of people were happy with it. Recess was fun because today was the first time we got to use the flags in football!

Specials was next. I had art and we have to make a mask on this special paper. When you scratch it it turns to rainbow colors.

The next subject is language arts and spelling. Today we didn't really have a journal warm-up. Instead we talked about what we would like to be for the Eagle Eye News. We did the word of the day. The word was brawny. After that we did our MUG Shot sentence. Then we did a spelling test. We also have to take a test tomorrow. However if you get it all right you don't have to take the test.

Now we have to start writing a news story.

The day was terrific. Tomorrow we get out at 2:30 and then the weekend. It is the worst part of the week because we all love school so much we just cry when we aren't at school! :)
