Hello my name is David A. and welcome to school!!!!! Today in reading you will take a summative on cause and effect. Don't worry it's not hard.

In science you will work with the science CD it will be so much fun.

In language arts you will do a world scramble with the "Christmas Season" it will be awesome. You will do some tests and a door prize drawing. Hope you win.

In math you will do mastering math facts and accelerated math.

In social studies you will do a Northwest Passage activity.

Do a good job at the Christmas program and sing out.

IT'S FRIDAY...... Today is going to be so much fun but we have short classes. They are 40 minutes because our program is today at 12:45. We're going to have a mixed-up schedule.

To start the day off we had Mrs. Kloppenborg's class first. In reading on Friday we worked on skills. Today instead of doing a packet we took a test over cause and effect. We have been working on that for several weeks. The CD Rom in science was so much fun. We found out how the Grand Canyon was formed.

Remember we told you we are going to have a weird schedule? Well normally we would have second rotation next but we had Mrs. Morrow for our next teacher. For journal warm up we tried to find out how many word we could spell out of CHRISTMAS SEASON. The most we could find in our class was 20 some. We also had to take two tests. They were over capitalization and vocabulary lesson 13. In scrabble rotation 2 is winning. We didn't have enough time to take spelling tests but we did have a door prize drawing for a huge candy cane filled with candy. I know you can guess who won. Connor Peterson.

Mrs. Young's class was fun. In social studies we traced a route of Roald Amudsen's North West Passage and how he got through Canada. He did a lot of exploring. Math on Friday we always have accelerated math. So some people had tests to do.

We only have a week left for A.R. So we got 35 minutes of reading. If you meet your goal you get to play games instead of reading more.

Today for lunch we had a choice of A. Pizza B. Fish sticks C. Yogurt (for vegetarians) Some people like to bring their lunch too.

After recess everybody got ready for the big performance in front of the student body. We only messed up once or twice. It went pretty well.

Then it was time to go home, sit down, relax, and maybe slip your socks off and get a foot rub.
