an Infomercial
Infomercials are actually mini commercials that
provide information. Show one or more of the following infomercials. Take time
to discuss each and why they do or do not appeal to this audience.

humorous approach; view the content first. Some teachers may prefer not to show
it to elementary students.
Infomercial goals may be the following:

audience)
Consider audience appeal; some possibilities to
include:
----testimonials from well known personalities
----facts and summary of important facts at the
end
----still shots
----interesting comparisons
----demonstration
----humor
----contact information - phone #, website (if
applicable)
----catch phrases - "As seen on tv",
"You can do it, too"
----price - (if applicable)
