Code of Chivalry

K nights-in-training have high moral expectations.  Here you will find information about the code of chivalry you will be expected to live by.

School Code of Chivalry
  1. Be SAFE

  2. Be RESPECTFUL

  3. Be RESPONSIBLE

Classroom Code of Chivalry

  1. Follow all directions the first time given.
  2. Keeps hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
  3. Be prepared and on time.
  4. No teasing, no putdowns, no swearing.
  5. No fighting.
Positive behaviors will be noted and rewarded.  Sever infractions will result in skipping steps on the behavior card chart.  (For example, fighting or swearing are considered "severe" and will take you straight to the 4th or 5th card on the chart as deemed necessary.)

Consequences:

Behavior Card Chart

  • 1st card = Warning
  • 2nd card = 10 minutes after school
  • 3rd card = 20 minutes after school
  • 4th card = Detention
  • 5th card = Principal Referral

Cards are cumulative from room to room, but always start over with the start of a new day.  Offenses will be recorded and sent home at the conclusion of each week in your Friday folder for your parents to sign.

Miscellaneous Procedures

*    Planners – you will keep track of assignments and important reminders in the Student Planner that we will give you.  You will be expected to have your planner with you at all times during training and use it to help you be prepared for all tasks.

*    Late Assignments – Late assignments will result in staying after school for 15 minutes or until the assignment is complete.  Repetitive and habitual offenders will be issued Saturday school.  More explanation to come.

*        Friday Folders – every Friday you will bring home a folder containing graded assignments and notes for your parents.  You will need to bring this back, signed, every Monday.
