My last days in O’Neill

by Morgan

Wow, it’s snowing again! Oh, hi it’s Ariel again, I just spent Thursday night with Morgan. To start off the night, it all started when Erin gave me to Morgan. After that it was on to Publishing Pros. In Publishing Pros Morgan and I worked on a Power Point on technology at O’Neill Public schools. Then Rylee, Morgan, and me cleaned Mrs. Morrow’s cupboard. (Boy was it a mess)! Next  Morgan and I hung up all the silhouettes in the hallway. (I don’t want to ever roll tape again)! A little while later Morgan and I went to get her sister, who was at Developing Eagles. Then we found her mom waiting in the car. We hopped in the car, and buckled our seatbelt.

When we got to Morgan’s house her mom asked her if she had any homework and what she did in school? She said no and not much. Next I met the family, I had already met her mom and sister. So next I met her dad, Mark and cats Tiger and pookie Joe, and her crab Patrick. Then Morgan and I went and watched Spongebob. Morgan said that she had seen this episode a million times, and had to go set the table, so I stayed and watched the rest of it. At first I thought that SpongeBob was a piece of cheese. But Morgan told me that he was a sponge.

When dinner was ready we sat down and had Hamburger Helper. Yum, it was delicious! After dinner we went down and played Mind maze on the computer. It’s a game where you have to find your way through the castle and answer questions. Then we surfed the web. Morgan said that she was going with her dad to Bombgars so I stayed home. When Morgan got home it was time to go to bed. So I listened to Morgan say her prayers and then we went to bed! And that was my night with Morgan.

Little did I know…

I got to stay with Morgan EXTRA Long!! You see, the snow kept falling and falling, and the kids didn’t have school on Thursday OR Friday!  Snow days are one of the coolest things about living in Nebraska!  I was supposed to leave on Friday, but since no one was at school to pack me up, I got to stay until the next week.  That’s when I said my sad GOODBYES! (I wonder if Washington will have over a foot of snow like Nebraska did when I left?)
