Ring! Ring! Time to get up for school! Do you ever eat well balancedd breakfasts? Well, O'Neill Elementary students do.Today we had:long johns with caramel frosting, mandarin oranges, and white or chocolate milk.  Then we did attendance and said the pledge of allegiance. After that we rotated classes. First was Mrs. Young.

She teaches Math and Social Studies. Today for math we had 2 pages; page 52-53. For Social Studies we read about Indian tribes and had an assignment about the tribes. Then we went on to Mrs.Morrow's class to take spelling tests and write descriptive writings. Then we had P.E. We played double tip kickball. The way you play is as soon as the person kicks the ball, you can't catch the ball . You have to tip the ball to another person, then that person tips it to another person to catch the ball. Then the person who kicked the ball is out. After that we washed our hands, and then had our musical lunch. This week is National Music Week. So we had soprano spaghetti, and meatballs with garlic bread, tenor hot ham and cheese, alto strawberry banana yogurt, a capella green beans, minstrel white or chocolate milk, and solist royal white powdered brownies. After that my friends and I went out to play. So we played toilet tag. Toilet tag is like freeze tag, but only you hold out your hand and wait for some one else to pull it down and flush you. Others play flag football, four square, regular tag, or junkey junkey monkey on the monkey bars. Then we went back to Mrs. Kloppenborg's classroom to read the magical myth of MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS. Then after that we went to the library to answer the question of the day. The question was: What was my last bulletin board? The answer was: Mercer Mayer who writes LITTLE CRITTER books. Then we played dewey decimal baseball. The way to play is to answer a question and move to a base. {The bases were chairs.} Then we checked out books; and magazines like Sports Illustrated and American Girl. Then back to the room to awaken our science vegetation skills. We played a game on the SMARTboard. A smartboard is a utensil to touch and is in the shape of a board. But I forgot to mention reading. For reading we got in our groups to discuss our books. Then time for band. Our teacher for band is Mr. Dean, Mrs.Dean's husband. Another thing I forgot to mention some people go to Mrs. Dean's room for some subjects.

Then after band I, Elizabeth, signed planners to see who had homework. That would be everybody! You get to leave early! Now it's time for Developing Eagles, and Soundsational Singers. Well, I guess everybody in the school will be ready for a Friday tomorrow!
