Good morning! Are you ready for a fun Friday? I
am! First 5B starts off with math and social studies, as usual. In
Math we got back test and took pretest on adding and subtracting
whole numbers and decimals. In Social Studies we did a venn
diagram on the Great Basin Indians and California Indians.
Next was Language Arts, we corrected
vocab, handed in news packets, took tests, and on laptops we
did "Swiss Cheese Writing" were we make the writing
better by "filling in the holes".
Then we went to music and sang many songs.
Music was awesome!
After music it was time for my favorite time of
the day ... lunch! We had cheese pizza, combo sub, or yogurt all
of them came with green beans, a chcocolate chip cookie, and your
choice of milk.
Following lunch was recces. Everybody had fun
playing: four-square, tag, flag football, playing on the new and
old playgrounds, running around, or just talking. Then before you
know it it's time to go inside!
Once we got back to our classroom my class read
"Mr.Popper's Penguins".
Time for Reading and Science! In Reading we
talked about cause and affect and did a sheet on cause and affect.
In Science we watched a Bill Nye video. Everybody loved Science
because who dosn't love Bill Nye The Science Guy?
Later was studyhall. That's when we work on our
homework or read if we have no homework. On Friday everybody gets
study hall, but on Tuesday and Thursday band people have band and
on Monday and Wednesday band people have lessons.
Ding, ding, ding! Time to go! Is your planner
signed? Yep! Is your PALM in the basket? Yep! You can go now! Yay!
