Today was going to be totally awesome. Like always, my class started the day off with the opening exercises. Then we went to Mrs. Morrow's classroom. There we did spelling, vocabulary, word of day, and language arts. Some of the kids went to Ms. Bauer's room and talked about a contest.

Next we went to Mrs. Kloppenborg's room for science and reading. In science we gave our bean seeds 1 tablespoon of water. In reading we practiced our literature circles.

La, la, la. Music was after that. We played a Jeopardy game there.

At lunch we all had great conversations with all of our friends and ate great lunches. After lunch came recess. There we all had fun in the sun!

When we got back to homeroom we read from "Leon and the Spitting Image."

Afterwards we went to the library. At library we talked about the Dewey Decimal System and looked at tons of books.

When we came back we stayed in homeroom for math and social studies with Mrs. Young. In math we practiced rounding numbers and did a worksheet. In social studies we read from our books and had an assignment to do with Sketchy on our PALMS.

Then band people had to go play thier shiny instruments. While band people played as loud as they could, the people in study hall were trying to be as quiet as they could.

Before you knew it, the bell rang and all of the people rushed out the doors to go home! I was right! Today was an awesome day!!!
