| 9-7-05 Michael H. Are you having a 9 3/4 day? We are at the O'Neill Elementary 5th grade. Language arts was great today. We are learning a new word, synonym. Today we finally get to use our vocab. workbooks. In writing we are learning about the 6 trait Writing. Science is fun. We are learning about seeds that can grow in recycled things like paper and cardboard. I n reading we did the Word Wizard. In P.E. this week we are doing our testing, today we did the shuttel run. During recess kids had a very fun time on the new playground equipment. In math we are comparing numbers. In Scocial Studies we are learning about how the people during the Ice Ages got to North America. Ding Ding Ding time to go home and get ready for a great day tommorrow.
