Most people are famous for painting pictures. I Michelangelo, am famous for painting a ceiling! I painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

It was a very big project, a 5,800 square foot ceiling. It took four years to finish the painting.

I also was a sculptor. I created the David and the Pieta. Most of my work is in churches in Italy.

All my hard work was worth it because people still come to admire my art.
