Did you know I was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean?
Hi my name is Amelia Earhart. As a child I did a lot of boy things like playing baseball and climbing trees. One day I took another risk I was in a plane and flew across the Atlantic Ocean! I did this many times but one day on my flight I vanished and my plane crashed. At least that is what people thought what happened to me.
I became famous and got many medals for my wonderful flying. And until this day I am remembered for my bravery and that I was the first woman to fly alone in an airplane.
