Do you know who invented the computer program called Microsoft? I did. My name is Bill Gates. Before Microsoft I attended a school in Seattle Washington. I started my first program while attending school at Lake high school in Seattle. In the early 1960’s I knew computers were too big and too expensive for people to own. But a man named Paul Allen helped me to improve the personal computer by making a language program called BASIC. Microsoft windows was the first operating system to develop a mouse for use with a PC’s. I also found a way to link PC’s together all over the world so people could communicate with each other. In 1996 my company made2 billion dollars. I have given over 135 million dollars to worthy causes, I love giving money schools and library’s. Now I work more than 70 hours a week. They say that I’m the leader of the world’s computer revolution.
