Teddy Roosevelt

Do you know who gave the teddy bear its name? It was I Teddy Roosevelt. As a child I was very scared, and I had many health problems. I was very wealthy growing up in New York City. As the years passed I began to hunt buffalo and other animals. Went to Harvard College. I was in a governing class were I ran for mayor, and got last place. Then I decided to run for president, and this time I got it. “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” That’s how I took care of the U.S. I died in 1919, but I am still remembered today.
