Walt Disney

What would your parents say if you drew on the side of the house with tar? Well I Walt Disney did but luckily did not get in too much trouble or there would be no Disney movies, books, Disney Land, or Disney World. I lived on a farm when I was younger and I named all of my animals. My first show on tv to be a hit was “Davy Crocket” and later “Mickey Mouse Club.” It took 7,220 feet of film for an 80 min. Disney film and an animator could only do 10 a week. I was 27 years old when I created Mickey. Did you know that I almost named him Mortimer? Ub who was my friend could do 700 drawings a day and my fastest artist could do 8 a day. I had a plan to made Disney Land, but no one would support me on my dream, but on July 17, 1955 my dream did come true. 10,000 cars clogged streets for 10- miles around and 33,000 people were there on opening day, but by the end of the year 1,000,000 people showed up. In 1959 the monorail was made. I died of a walnut size tumor, but happy to see that my dream still lives on today in Disney animations around the world.
