O'NEILL 5TH GRADERS WAX MUSEUM A SUCCESS

By Scott Poese

The O'Neill Public School 5th Grade Class held their annual Madame Morrow's Museum of Historical Wax Figures Tuesday.  46 fifth graders had 40 different presentations where you could learn about people that made history.  Everything from Benjamin Franklin to Laura Ingalls Wilder to Walt Disney made this a living history project.  The students would hold their wax pose and when you came up to them they would come to life and tell some of the history of the individual they were portraying.
Visitors could make a donation when they visited the different wax figures with the money going to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.  And at the end of the day the O'Neill Public Fifth Grade class raised $481.00 to go the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
