    Wake up and smell the coffee.  I would but I don’t drink coffee so oh well. 

     Molly S. told me I was going to hang out with Tasha L. for today. We headed off to Reading and Science first In Reading Tasha read the rest of Where the Red Fern Grows but she didn’t finish. She said that I should read it sometime because it is a really good book.  During Science they thought of appropriate projects for the Science Fair.  They do the Science Fair each year in the fifth grade.  Mrs. Kloppenborg said get ready and line up for 2^nd rotation.

    Tasha and all of the other people in Mrs. Young’s 2^nd rotation went to P.E.  While they did that I took a nice long nap.  When they got back we started Social Studies.  In Social Studies we read about the colonies Virginia and Georgia.  I learned a lot of new knowledge.  Then they did a chart that helped us remember in our workbooks. 

During Math they learned how to estimate quotients using two digits.  They had an assignment after Mrs. Young explained it a little more. It was R6-2, and it was easy!

Ahhhh, finally it was time for lunch.  I stayed in the room and ate a sack lunch.  It was good!  It was so cold outside so everyone stayed inside. 

Tasha and everyone else went to read to the first graders.  When study hall started percussion band went to practice. Everybody started to work on homework they didn’t get done with in class or they read their A.R. book. At 1:25 trombones went band.

Soon enough last rotation came. Tasha and I went to language arts. In language arts everyone shared their wax museum speeches. They also double checked to make sure that they had everything the needed for the wax museum the next day. Mrs. Morrow stopped last rotation twenty minutes early so the kids could go back to homeroom and set up for the wax museum.  I don’t know about the other rooms but Mrs. Young’s room had a lot of commotion.

       I had a good day but I was very tired so that night I went to Kelci R’s house.
