Winthrop's journal
I can't believe that we're in school for another day. I will start at 8:00
with the flag. After we do the whole flag salute we stay in Mrs. Kloppenborg's
class for reading and science. The whole time we are in class we only do
reading. Everyone worked on their reading projects and Connor and I worked on
making a newspaper article about Old Yeller called the Hound dog Gazette. After
we worked on our projects we finished watching, "Where the Red Fern
Grows". Finally it is time for P.E. We got to P.E. And I had to sit in the
stands because coach didn't think I was able to play. Just because I'm small and
cuddly does not make me not be able to play. At last through a fun time at P.E.
We go to class doing math and social studies with Mrs. Young. All that we had to
do was correct a worksheet, read pages about the Southern colonies plantation,
and color a map of the plantation. Math is fun because we did the best thing,
Accelerated Math!
Connor and I got to sit in the teacher's chair which was absolutely amazing.
We ate lunch and went to recess. When we got back we went to Art. In Art we
worked on building our houses. Finally we got back from class and had Study
hall. I helped Connor color his map of the southern colonies. I'm going to go to
Language which we worked on our Eagle Eye News stories. Its so sad that we have
to leave for Spring break but I will talk to you on Monday. Catch you later.
