Yippe! today is our field trip to the Natural Resources
Festival at the Faith Community Church.
We rode on a van with Mrs. Kloppenborg and a bunch of other classmates.
The first session that we went to was seeing how the water cycle works.
While there we did an activity that showed how waters moves from place to
place. In the Wheel of Fortune we
were in teams of six. We spun the
wheel and then answered questions and won what we spun on the wheel.
Next we went to the bottle rockets. We
put water into pop bottles and 25 lbs of pressure and pulled the string that was
attached and watched the bottle fly into the air and then we tried to catch it.
Tic–Tac – Toe and in this class we answered more questions about
water. Finally we went to Who Wants
to be a Millionaire.
When we returned to school we ate lunch in our classroom.
Then we went to art. After
art we did study hall and started our 2nd rotation.
In Science today we worked on more stuff about plants on the smart board
and did a paper. In third rotation
we did the Eagle Eye news. See you
all tomorrow.
