Beep, beep, beep! Time to wake up sleepyheads and go to school.
During my first rotation, I am joining Jordyn B. and Alex H. for the entire
school day. First, we went over their MUG shot sentences and Word of the Day.
Our word was navigator: an officer who figures out the position and course of a
ship or an airplane. Then, we looked over our similes assignment and started to
work on our book review. Even though I couldn't exactly understand what they
were discussing, it was pretty fun picking out our books for our book review.
Next, I went with Alex to her second rotation, Social Studies an Math. We had
to review for our summative test on the Southern, New England, and Middle
colonies by getting study sheets to work on for a while with a partner. Remember
to bring your Southern Colonies brochure to class tomorrow and to study for at
least 20 minutes. Next, in Math, we corrcted our assignment and got with
different partners and worked with black and blue cards, discussing the
dividends and quotients by matching them up into groups. The assignment that was
given was P 8-9.
Finally, we get to go to lunch. Yhe choices were A. Italian Dunkers, B. Pork
Tenderloin sandwich, C. Yogurt, corn, and the salad bar, as always. Then, we
went outside for lunch recess. I had a BLAST!
Next it is time for study hall and A.R. Time.
Last but not least, it is time for third rotation, Reading and Science.
First, during Reading, we discussed our character worksheet and read and
discussed chapter three. After we got done discussing we did a worksheet on all
the pages from 2 to 24. That was all the homework the class had to do. I stayed
in third rotation and did science with Alex. In science me and Alex finished
watching the move on plants. I also helped Alex on her work paket for science.
Then we took apart a flower and looked at the parts of a flower.
I had the most fun day with Alex and Jordyn.
