This years case is a civil case about a copyright infringement suit brought by several recording companies against a college student (KC Jones) for allegedly downloading and sharing music.

The prosecution will have to prove that KC Jones has actually downloaded and shared the music himself.

On prosecution, Sal Hofman, a 24 year old employed by the music industry, will testify against KC Jones. Sal tries to prove that the songs and software were on KC's hard drive. He is a strong witness for the prosecution since his certifications with computers are so high.

Also on prosecution, Mel Miller will testify against KC, while defending herself at the same time. KC tries to put the blame on Mel, but Mel tells the jury she had nothing to do with downloading the music on KC's computer. She also tells us that KC has one really good reason for downloading the music, being that KC is a very popular DJ. Mel tells us that it's nearly impossible for KC to afford buying all the music he has.

Finally for prosecution, Beck Celestial, who works for Coffee Ka's Mochamorphosis, will testify against KC. Beck tells us several reasons in her deposition why Mel Miller wouldn't have been the one who downloaded the music on KC's computer, and how KC is most likely the one who did it.

Meanwhile, the defense will try to sway the jury to believe that KC Jones never downloaded the software that was on his laptop, and someone else had to have done it.

KC Jones, the defendant, testifies for himself. He sways the jury to believe that he downloads his music off iTunes 100% legally and Mel Miller has spoofed KC's computer, making it look as though he gets his music for free in order to get back at KC for something that has happened in the past.

Next George/ette Kelly testifies that both KC and Mel aren't very computer smart. George/ette is a student that is a tech assistant who helps other students with their computers. He/she tells us that he/she sees spoofing at the University constantly, so it is a possibility Mel has spoofed KC's computer.

Finallly Aaron Cratz testifies that Mel was using KC's computer to listen to music. Aaron also says that Mel has the personality of a "jerk" so it's likely that Mel would spoof KC's computer as a ploy to get back at him.
