O'Neill High School Title I Program Grade 7, 8 and 9 Instructors Kathy Hostert Kevin Morrow

The Title I Program at OHS serves students grades 7,8, and 9 in Math and English. Students who qualify for Title I services are given extra help in the areas of Math and English. This is a program not meant to single students out and make them feel inadiquate, but rather give them a chance to succeed in the classroom with a boost of self confidence in their skills.

In order to take part in title I students have to meet 5 criteria on a needs assessment. Every student in grades 7-9 are evaluted with this assement to determine who gets to take part in Title I and who does not. The 5 criteria are as follows. Average test scores, attendance, teacher survey, report card grade, and instructional level.

Title One is a great program that will help your child improve his or her academic skills with the right attitude.
