The O'Neill Public School District serves approximately 775 students PK-12. It covers 114 square miles and consists of a K-6 elementary school and a 7-12 Jr./Sr. High. O'Neill Public Schools offer a diverse selection of both academic and non-academic courses and activities. The district is recognized worldwide as a leader in utilizing technology to enhance learning.
The Junior-Senior High School has engaged in a 1:1 laptop 24/7 Learning project for the past four years, and is proud of the learning projects that students have produced during that time. Students are able to learn two languages, Spanish and Chinese at O'Neill High School. They can also participate in a Health Careers Academy that includes CNA certification.
