Welcome to the O'Neill Oracle! We'll share our knowledge and opinions about our hometown (O'Neill, Nebraska) through many exciting segments including: History, Popular Personalities, Economy, Geography, and many more! Mrs. Sullivan's 3rd class created and performed the script, while Mrs. Morrow's 5th graders recorded and edited the podcast production. Thanks also to Mr. Vincent for starting the idea of the "Our City" podcast and allowing schools everywhere to participate and share about our great hometowns!

Created in conjunction with a Language Arts persuasive writing unit, this sample PSA convinces us all to take seriously ATV safety. Each 30 second PSA in this unit was created entirely by 5th grade students. More to come...

Water Court

Shortly after attending the Natural Resources Festival, these 5th grade students decided to create a radio drama to share some of what they learned. Presenting “Water Court” by Alyssa, Michaela, Lizzie, and Tyler.

Enrichment Clusters

Enrichment Clusters are seven week mini-courses for 4th-6th grade students at O’Neill Elementary to work and learn in an area of interest outside the regular curriculum. We meet once a week for 90 minutes with our Cluster teacher and culminate the experience with a “Cluster Fair.” Our Cluster this year with Mrs. Morrow is called “The Podcast Platoon.” You can tell what we did by listening to our awesome podcasts! However, if you want to learn about all the rest of the clusters, just listen to this episode.
