K-PALS
A Kindergarten program designed to provide instruction and extra practice in phonemic awareness skills, letter/sound knowledge and recognition, and beginning decoding skills.
SOUND PARTNERS
An intense early reading intervention that provides individual instruction/tutoring in word attack/decoding skills, word identification, spelling, sight word strategies, and other skills necessary for reading well. Daily reading practice is provided in texts that best match the reading level of the student. Sound Partners is designed for first through third graders (and older students) who need assistance with letter-sound knowledge and decoding skills.
REWARDS
A specialized reading program designed to teach intermediate students (Grades 4, 5, and 6) in elementary schools a flexible strategy for decoding long words and to increase their oral and silent reading fluency.
READ 180
An intensive reading program designed to meet the need of students whose reading achievement is below the proficient level. This program directly addresses student needs through adaptive and instructional computer software, high interest literature, and direct instruction in reading skills. OPS is currently using READ 180 with students in Grades 5-8. |
